Great looking car...but do those cars really command that much of a premium? A little shocked at the price based on the mileage...

Not to poop on your parade, I'm just not well versed in those cars.

Its slightly on the higher end but yes thats what these things go for. 2002-2003s with over 100k typically go for 15-17k, im assuming he thinks the value of the mods helps his price and that it was probably well taken care of. 80-100k your looking at 16k to 19k. 02s with less than 80k still are in the 20ks...

It hurts the price and limits the selling market, FWIW. As I'm now a little older, I would buy a stock one over one thats been modified.

 No shit, thats why I said "assuming he thinks the value of the mods helps his price....

Now that we have already destroyed this poor thread, we picked up my mom's same year as this one with 88K miles for $14k. Guy actually tried to back out when he found out how much they were worth

Seriously, who puts General tires on an M3?

Yeah its on the higher end, but taking into account the everyone is going to low ball you I figured it was a decent starting point.

The mods only add value to someone who's sees them as valuable. Pardon the John Madden-ish insight, but as someone stated they would look for a stock one if they were in the market so this car wouldn't be for them. Granted all the mods can be removed and restored to stock condition before or after sale, but I don't have the time to do this and would prefer to sell the car as is.

Generals on an M3? Half the price and twice the life of ps2's. Seems like a no brainer for street rims. The quality tires are on the stock rims but are barely clinging on to life and not worth mentioning as a selling point.

That being said for the two years I have had the car its been well taken care of and I'd be happy to answer any other questions
