That'd be the only election where the VP candidate is also on another ticket for President.

Because in my head I can't justify the amount of money we've put towards a war that has done nothing but make enemies.

So you want to elect someone who plans on cutting taxes, increasing spending and somehow plans on reducing the deficit? Dont give me any shit about clinton balancing the budget that was a shell game more than anything else.

How does Bush intend to reduce the deficit if were spending a billion dollars a week keeping half our military in a country that hates us.

I let a lot of really stupid comments go in political discussion, but since Ive hear this ass-speak all the time from the uninformed, I have a question for you,

How the fuck do you come to this conclusion?
CNN? CBS? Or just the bush bashing bandwagon ?

Im sitting, right at this very moment, in a classroom full of marines who are in garrison in-between Iraq deployments. These guys were part of the invasion and saw the statue fall. Earlier today I was talking with a master sargeant who told me about the crowds and mobs of cheering Iraqis, the gratitude and gifts they recieved from Iraqi citizens everywhere.
Of course, being informed as you are, you surely know that the majority insurgents and terrorists are not Iraqis, but from neighboring terrorist networks.
I have several co-workers who are native Iraqis. It is difficult to get them to talk about it, but they suffice to say that it was a nightmare under Saddam's reign, and their family members still in Iraq are ecstatic to be rid of him and to form a new government.

I just gave you direct, first person information. Not CNN, not CBS, not even FoxNews. All you guys can say is "bush sucks so Im voting for kerry"
Here is an idea: how about making an informed decision.
I have.

I did make an informed decision. Its not worth the billions of dollars that our country is spending to try to get some underdeveloped country out of the shit-hole. Maybe Bush should get a clue and worry about the problems in AMERICA before he goes trying to solve everyone elses problems.

We can argue back and forth all day, but you know as well as I do that when election day comes around, you'll be voting for a trigger-happy, deficit-causing liar and I'll be voting for Kerry.

I wonder how the general public's opinions will change 10 years from now when people start to looking at our involvement in Iraq in an objective light rather than by media-fueled hatred.
