I'm not sure there is going to be one. If there is, it will be $5 off of your first weekend membership.

I would rather see you do this;

Saferacer First Gear Membership
Special discounted membership designed to help those age 24 and under get started. Delivers all the benefits of a regular membership, including your own copy of SportsCar®, at an exceptional value of only $45 per year

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://ams.scca.com/netforum/eweb/firstgear.htm">http://ams.scca.com/netforum/eweb/firstgear.htm</a><!-- m -->

You could recoup the cost of this membership in as few as three events vs. nonmember fees.

The First Gear is a good deal, that's what I did and since I do a lot of SCCA stuff, it paid off a while back.

I'm definitely in for Sunday. Potentially in for the T&T, what all does that entail?

There will be a maximum of 40 drivers. We will split into two groups that alternate driving and working. We will do that in 30 - 40 minute sessions from 10 AM - 4 PM with a lunch break.

So, if somebody just wants to go one day only, which would you suggest? Saturday, or Sunday?

You'll likely get more seat time on a shorter, simpler course on Saturday. The course will be more challenging and the competition better on Sunday.

If you want to see how you stack up against others, Sunday. If you just want to work on driving and get seat time, Saturday. Like Ray said, the course for Saturday will be pretty simple with basic autocross elements thrown in so folks can "break in" their new xmas toys (parts) and to shake rust off of the drivers. Runs from test and tunes are like fun runs in that they aren't posted online and there aren't timeslips so you'll have to watch the timer or ask around to see how you're doing compared to anyone else.

I'm registered and ready for both days! ($35 for both days, Thank you SCCA membership)

How many runs do you think we get with the saturday? Im still getting used to the M and would like as much "track time" as possible.

Looks like we have a few already signed up for Sunday, myself included.

Peter... I could MAYBE be convinced to do Saturday. I really want to (and for $10 why not) but need to see how my workload will be for that following Monday/Tuesday. I'll check soon and can always edit my registration.

While yes, all the cool kidz are going Sunday, Sunday will be a much better day to understand the "autocross experience" Just something about lining up with the starting lights, taking timed runs, and competing with everyone makes it much more enjoyable! Come out Sunday instead!

Signed up for Sunday, but on the fence for Saturday. Have a bunch of busy weekends in March and April.

As usual, secret weapons will be debuted.
