Checking out a used car in Hburg

Hey guys, I was hoping someone still left in Harrisonburg would be able to check out a used car.

If someone has some free time and knows where this place is, can you go check it out for all the usual things you'd look for in a used car? (aligned body panels, paint overspray, weird noises, scuffs/scratches, electronics work, etc) Like I said, my buddy's got twins so his schedule isn't really conducive to go driving around all day looking at cars so the more info I can get for him before he goes out, the better. It'd be a huge favor and the next time I see you, beers are on me. Just let me know if one of you will be able to help him out. Thanks!

Damn, I wish it was a little closer....

If someone gets me a VIN, I can check to see if any major work was done on it under warranty for you.

Also, if anyone looks at it, take off the oil cap and try to see it it looks sludged up, that engine family was famous for gunking up really bad if people didn't change their oil regularly.

I go past there all the time. If you decide you are really interested I could probably go check it out, or take more pictures......... or drive it like there is no tomorrow lol.

if you aren't too busy or it isn't a hassle for you then I'd appreciate it. check for any signs that it was a repaired wreck, pics always help, anything thats already been mentioned in this thread. I know you're dying to hop in a minivan and see how fast you can get the kids to soccer practice :lol:

As far as warranty work, there has been nothing done by any Toyota dealers other than a seatbelt bezel recall. There is an outstanding recall on it for liftgate struts, but thats obviously free.

Must have come from the Charlotte area though, the recall was done in 05 at Scott Clark's Toyota City.
