This photo of a through-floor garage/lift/display is from a house designed by Tsuchida for a client in Tokyo. The request from the client? A nine-car garage, with the ability to view one of the cars in the living room, plus a tall tree--all in 2,000 square feet.

A tall order for any architect, to be sure, but Tsuchida delivered with style. Dubbed "KRE," the house is just one of the many impressive designs envisioned and made real by Tsuchida.
