damn I knew this was going to come up... I was under the car all day today and have a ton to finish before the season starts. I'm also buying a HANS device before I go on track again, so I have no idea if I'll be at this one. My boss might come with his insane Porsche... so I may be there driving or spectating.

Yeah, we're staying together somewhere, Laura hasn't confirmed yet.


I put new pads on the XR on Sunday and took it for a 30 mile cruise and all seems pretty good. Going to do a final nut & bolt on it one evening this week and cross my fingers it works well. This will be our first event in 2 years. (!)

damn westies and your year long sunshine. and the last two years haven't been too bad. I seem to remember it being like near 60 two years ago which is much better compared to three years ago when it was snowing.

It's a buddy of mine from Alabama with a V8 XR. He does events all the time with NASA SE. He's quick. Proof that there are at least two of these cars left in the world!

maybe Jay... man this event came up quickly. I need a few more weeks to finish the car for this season. I'll talk to you tonight about it, but I probably need that weekend to work on the car.

I think March may be a better month for me to start the season...

Yes, YES, the XR will be at VIR and with any luck it will be driving around the track in HPDE 3 :-).

The one to watch out for will be the maroon XR though, it has a massaged V8 in it...
