only the raiders, bengals, browns, and rams have fewer points than the skins this season... yes, we're in that kind of company... yes, the lions, chiefs, and seahawks all have more.
quite possibly the worst 7-7 team ever.

no decent coaches wanted to work for Snyder at the end of last season, and if he fires Zorn after 1 season definately no decent coaches are going to want to work for him. I predict Zorn will be the coach for another 2 years at least.
Zorn is a good coach IMO, I think the serious problem is in the O-Line and QB.

Completely agreed. There's no way we can get rid of Zorn this quickly, we have to allow him to try and bring in personnel to run HIS offense. And maybe, for the first time in years, we'll see the draft focus on the lines.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
this year is predicted to be the best draft for d-line in years, so I expect them to get some d-line guys.
what to do with the o-line? who knows. Should have worked on that in draft 2008 instead of drafting players we already have plenty of
Short of drafting an O-line, I think the next best step is to get a QB who is good under adverse conditions. Campbell's good if he has time, which he was getting at the beginning of the year, but he's not good enough to make things happen when he doesn't. You might give him another year to let someone else get a year as backup but I don't see him at the QB of the future.
FWIW, I think Eli is suffering the same thing the last few weeks and is kinda showing his true colors.

This should also be a fantastic year for O-line in the draft. That second round pick for Jason Taylor really comes back to bite us now, and I think he's gone after this year.

yeah that was a huge mistake. Thanks Vinny and Danny
Parcells hosed us on that trade, he knew Taylor had nothing left and that Vinny and Danny were suckers
But I will admit he's building up the dolphins the right way, he picked up 6 linemen in last years draft. And as the lines are shaping up, so to are the dolphins.

At least I still have the Panthers to route for Not that Delhomme is a great QB either but at least we have some nasty offensive talent.

The reason Snyder couldn't get a decent coach is because he went out and hired all of the 2nd/3rd level coaches and then asked all of his head coach candidates "Can you do something with this?"
No Head Coach works that way. You bring in a head coach and he cleans house and brings in his own people. So at the last minute he had to say "fuck it" and ask Zorn to step up.

Skins officially eliminated today. My prediction for 9-7 with the Cowboys at 10-6 seems to still be on par... although it looks like I was wrong about 10-6 not making the playoffs. Hopefully the Cowboys can actually beat the Eagles next week to get in.

At least he is honest. A win was nice this Sunday, but once again, had to be to the last second. I wish we could just lead, and play comfortably the rest of the game.

At 8-7 they already exceeded my expectations for the year.
