Anyone ever use these? I need to replace the tires on my DD Accord and I found a great deal on a set of these.

Wow color me impressed. I really liked the Goodyears but these are even better in the dry. They stick almost like a summer tire and dont howl at you when you have a little fun on an off ramp. They work well in the wet, although I havent driven through much deep water.
I will not be testing them in the snow however other than light dusting, the tread pattern looks to be horrible for that to my eyes. (and I have snow tires now too)
I think this will be a good compromise tire. Its grippy enough to be a lot of fun in the dry and good in the wet, and unlike a summer tire if you get a bit of snow but nothing deep its not going to leave you stranded.
Ill check back in when I have 5k or so miles on them.

Just bought a set of 912s myself. They were only $12 more per set than the 512s, which I really liked on my old Lexus. It doesn't sound like they are as performance oriented as the 512 but I'm fine with that... I need a tire that has good wet traction and longevity. The 912 has a 10,000 mile longer warranty too.

I think the dry grip is going to surprise you.
GRM put them up against some dedicated summer tires and it beat most of them.

Keep us posted on now you like them. I put snow tires on the car (not that it is going to snow this year...) and will be getting them in the spring.

Awesome, good to hear. Honestly anything is going to be an improvement over the stock Pilot MXM4s. I'll let u guys know what I think once they get mounted.

Initial impressions on this tire are that I am pretty happy with them so far. What I liked about the 512s on my Lexus were the stiffer sidewalls and these are similar. It really improves confidence, I've had to readjust my driving style a little because I had gotten so used to the craptastic stock MXM4s.

The car definitely wants to turn in more quickly with these tires and you can really feel how dialed in the suspension is from the factory now. I do get a little more road vibration feel through the steering wheel now and the car will track and pull a little bit when it hits inconsistencies in the highway, but the 512s were like that too so I was prepared for it. They are just as quiet if not quieter than my old tires so I'm definitely happy with that. No chance to drive them in the rain yet. The treadwear is better than the stockers, hopefully they will last a while even though my car eats tires... it's something about the stock suspension setup.

At $386 or something shipped I don't think you can go wrong with these tires.

too lazy to swap to my snow tires.

912s in 2"+ of snow...no. no grip at all.

luckily there were no other cars coming in the 4 way stops in my neighborhood

I drove in ~1" of snow with them last year and they werent too bad, so it seems like they just dont like any accumulation.

Yeah based on the tread pattern I could not see these being good in the snow. Fortunately we don't have to worry about it here (except for one day last week when we got about 1/4" and the whole city went into hysteria)

What size are your wheels? Those Falkens are cheap as crap, even for 17" tires... 16 or 15" have to be super cheap.

Ohh, you should buy some snow tires then man. I'd get a set if I still lived up there. The Hancooks I had on the STi were phenomenal.

I dont need snow tires for the 3 days a year it snows - and the tires on the car really arent much better in the dry - they really gotta go.
