Argh, sweet tea flavored vodka is going to turn me into an alcoholic. I overdosed on the stuff this weekend! The guy at the liquor store in Ballantyne (nc) said that their warehouse is sold out and they were down to a few more cases. He said they can't keep the stuff in stock and they dont know when they will get more. My roommate bought 5 bottles :lol:

Lazy I guess. I make sweet tea a lot around my house, but for some reason it's never as good as when other people make it. I don't know if I don't let it steep long enough, or put too much or too little sugar, etc.

It is a little milder than most vodkas and the sweet tea flavor cuts some of that bite that vodka has. I wouldn't take shots of it, but when you mix it in with water or like we did last night lemonade... man oh man, it creeps up on you quick.

Let me know Derek, I can snag you a bottle and ship it up.

I've recently gotten into scotch, more as a hobby, then a getting drunk kind of deal. I'm starting with the basics Johnnie red, glenlivet, glenfidditch, etc. Any other reccomendations?

Different because there is no mint (yuck), more lime, and less girly . The alcohol (Cachaca) is different tasting too.

I have a titanium Pulsar solar watch. (Pulsar is a lower end Citizen IIRC) Really nice and Im happy with it, but in winter when you wear a lot of long sleeves sometimes it looses charge.

Balvenie Doublewood, Talisker. Both are pretty smooth.

If you like scotch you'll probably like bourbon too, pick up some knob creek or bookers.

I disagree. The two are nothing alike.

Bourboun is a lot smoother than Scotch. IMO, whiskey is even between the two and similar to each than they are to each other. For bourbon, try Makers Mark or Elijah Craig.

They're different, but if you like single malt you'll probably like a good bourbon too.
