The c-c.com group a while back collected enough donations to get a memorial placed at Laguna Seca - the track has done several these, as well as names on bricks leading up to the corkscrew:

Just read the story on NSXfiles, really sad story, but very badass they antied up the money for the memorial at the track he one his first professional race.

Very cool, I remember reading about him back in 2003 before and after his death, when he took the SCC "Ultimate Street Car Challenge" in his Viper.
