That Trek is nice stuff. The OCLV bikes have been in development for a while. You'll get nicer kit on that Felt, because you pay the Lance Premium for a Trek. The Trek also looks like it's been ridden by a yuppie.

Trek is back up. Do I need/want a carbon bike? They dropped the price to $1200.

Components are still a notch below the Felt... and the Felt is every bit as stiff. Monocoque carbon is just bling. Can't go wrong either way, though.

If there isn't a huge difference, I'll probably go Felt. I like the idea of having 2 years free maintenance.

I'm a trek fanboi... and I'd buy the felt. Free fit/service, better components.

I took your advice... the bike feels GREAT.

And yes, upon closer inspection, that is a chip near the rear derailleur. Ugh.

LOL - where?
Congrats, that's a pretty lookin' bike, and it should definitely give you good service. I'll have to make sure I have a bicycle [with me] next time I come over to the left coast so that we can go riding.

Whats with the funny looking squigly tubes?
Does it come with matching gear? (guys I see on the trail on really expensive bikes always have matching gear)

I still don't see it... but then again, my Serotta is rattlecan black, and the shifters have been missing their decorative front plates for 5 years.
I've always wanted me a Pinarello.. igh:
