I have ventured into many ponds, and the home pond is still the best.
Learning other OSes is Geek-chic and all, but when it comes down to it, Windows is where I can get the most work done, the fastest and with the best tools
i'm slowly getting quicker in unix/linux.

Funny how I feel the same way about Linux. Give me vim and gcc, and I'll be productive
I'm trying to use Eclipse these days for Java, but it's been a bit painful. Old habits mean that I end up with a lot of ":w!" and "^g"'s that the autocomplete barfs on
Windows... I just don't even go there.
Eclipse is good stuff when you get the hang of it, although its got its quirks. We havent moved to release 3 yet though, and I hear its a lot better.
NetBeans is worth a shot too as far as free javarr IDEs go, better than eclipse in some ways
i <3 my powerbook g4...
bitches love it
i used netbeans in school, good stuff. i don't develop anymore so whateva!

NetBeans blows. I use eclipse when I have to edit my old stuff. Now I just develop everything in BEA's Workshop, talk about a sweet IDE!
