Were any of you up there for the race? I don't know all the details, but this girl I used to date just texted me to tell me that her dad just won whatever event was going on up there. His last name is Geyer and he drives a built, gutted caged monster of a C4. Really cool guy, I've chilled with him at his house and talked cars for hours haha

COMSCC was running there today and yesterday, which is the group I ran a lot of events with last year. It's basically a time trial organization that really has no real driver schools or no wheel to wheel racing involved. Pretty good group of guys though, they always put on really fun events with lots of track time.

Unfortunately I'm writing a thesis and doing no driving for the time being so I didn't make it.

Well it could be very possible that the daughter doesn't know the difference between a time trial and an actual race, in fact most people don't.
