I would say that but I stepped on it multiple times - maybe popping the clutch out quickly when attempting to kick-start it had an effect?

OK, car would not start again when I tried to come home from work Friday. I have been driving the SHO for the past 2 weeks too - only 300m on the Rabbit since this happened before.

SO - what new / used car should Adam buy???

Discuss. And nothing German.

I hate you Blair.

If I had 15k to devote to buying a newish car right now, I'd be looking pretty hard at the Honda Fit sport.

If you can find the M/T version, I believe pricing is right around 15 grand without all the tacky add-ons most of the dealers up here are pushing.

Or I'll sell you the fancy Camry (ES300), and I can find something "new to me" to beat around in.

I'll put you in a brand new suzuki for 15k or less.

Actually thinking large & automatic. 4 doors. 6-cyl preferable. Most likely an 05-06-07 GM. Pontiac Grand-Prixs and G6s can be had for cheap as balls.

Really? You want a Grand Prix? Stop thinking on your own and let Rex tell you what to get.

Because you were soooo concerned about electronicals when you bought a...oh wait, nevermind.

Sorry dude, I think your brain is broken. You'd rather have a Grand Prix than a CTS?

You could get a Mazda 3 wagon for that money. Or a well used 330i. You could get a Fusion, that's kind of like a Taurus...you're familiar with those.

There's also a Toyota Box...before you laugh, I drove one and they're super nice. Lots of visibility, tons of space, slow as tortoise that can't feel it's legs.

I would think that when you get a RealJobÔäó that provides a RealPaycheckÔäó you dont want to drive a 15 year old chitbox everyday with questionable reliability...
