Oh.. and the video. I watched it. Can I have my time back? Srsly.
Those RC51's do sound goooood, anyone in MM have/had one? At that bike track day at Shenandoah there were some incredible sounding bikes, no need for that chart, i'm sure for aural ecstasy vs. price the bike can't be beat. Still, I like them F-cars

Yup. Terrible 'every day' bike. But I'll buy another one soon...

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

Am I seeing that right, nearly flat in 6th gear? And then T2 in 5th gear?
Fuck... lets load up and go!

Not nearly flat in T1, totally flat out.
You set up your gearing so that your bike can't power to redline in 6th. That way, when you bend in for T1 you've got some rpms to use up so you can keep the bike 'accelerating' on the smaller portion of the tire and retain stability.
Oh, and you need Deez Nuts.
The big ones.

You should totally get an SV1k. They sound almost as good and they have the added benefit of not sucking.

I thought I was pretty set on picking one up, until I sat on one at the dealer - did not like it one bit.
If my F4i sells anytime soon I'll probably get a Monster.

Really? What didn't you like about it? Far too comfortable compared to an RC51?

The reach to the bars was too far, and the gas tank was just odd shaped and didnt seem to fit me with the long reach. As soon as I sat on one, I knew the ergonomics werent quite right.

Weird... I thought the RC51 was wayyyyy more uncomfortable.... unless the ergos for the 1k are different.
Maybe it's just your Barney Rubble frame that's got you all messed up.
