So I Found this "Interesting" Website

I was looking for pics of "BMW rice" and came across this site (insert joke here). I guess there's enough market for this? I bet someone on here has it bookmarked. I'm pretty sure it qualifies as safe for work but it's still pretty creepy.

This is the gallery I found via Google image search. Notice the flooded car... I'm not sure I understand.

They appear to have something for everyone... BMW, Ford, Audi, Mazda, Benz, Porsche, Jeep, Nissan... you name it. At least they don't discriminate.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

Are most IT departments that have web filter proxies deployed not intelligent enough to also block out external proxy sites?

Not really.

Although the easiest thing to do is just set up a proxy server at home. If surfing uninhibited is that important to you.

Hell, I can do bittorrent at work if I want to.

thread derail - I was doing VNC over SSL but Cox's "always on" high speed internet isn't "always on". it goes down more than a $2 hooker. And I'm pretty sure the other night I listened to my hard drive pull off a head crash. unfortunately I didn't care enough to check.

It's my experience that they aren't.
