If they went through the darien gap, then I'd be impressed. Most of central and south america is fine to travel through with el salvador and columbia being a little dodgy and then only at night. *edit* No one should be traveling at night cause of the banditos and what not. The "pan-american highway" makes for a relatively easy trip from alaska to tierra del fuego. A guy did it in a Vespa scooter for god's sake.

You uh, missed the sarcasm there.

No no, I got the sarcasm... but it's resting on the fact that you think I'm stupid for having that opinion. You might as well just cut to the chase and just say I'm dumb because my opinion is different.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

Finally saw the first three episodes - what a great documentary - even the "wifey" liked it! Definitely gives me the travel bug again...
One thing I haven't figured out is how they figured out the logistics for petrol in many areas as it's not readily available...
