Actually Harry screwed up. I said: GARRETT, Two of the big ones.....and I need them by tonight. A week later I got a single Mitusbishi turbocharger.

Oh well.

First, Evo3 Parts are very easy to get. The 4g63 in the Evolution's 1-3 is identical in orientation to the DSM 4g63 and many DSM vendors sell these items as an upgrade.

Second, that Red Eclipse with the frontmount is not mine. I too have seen the car that everyone is talking about, but do not know who is driving it or what has been done to it.

My dejon supersidemount IS very stealthy, and will go unnoticed by those who are not DSM enthusiasts.
My car is Black, with stock chrome 16's and painted blue Calipers. It has been driven all over the Hburg since the fall semester and you've probably seen it without giving it a second look.

Third, I have no plans for AutoX (but I'd like to try it just for fun) or for show car status though I will enter my car in some shows with my team this year because we're sick of seeing few if any DSMs in them.

I run my car at the dragstrip every month or so, but it can never be a serious quartermile runner because it's FWD. But it's my baby and I can't stop buying stuff to make it faster/quicker.

www.roadraceengineering.com downpipe. Eliminates cat and is flanged for an Evo3 o2 housing on one side, and an Apex catback on the other.....which is why I have:

an Apex N1 catback. 3 inches...

ACT 2100 clutch and XACT flywheel...bout half the weight of stock, but not stupid light like some others.

But, the weather doesn't want to help me out.
I'd planned on getting these entire exhaust side done this weekend but I'll probably have to wait until next weekend. I hope to have the car done by the MM meet so I can roll up in it.

I'm going to keep posting pictures of my progress here, although it isn't as exciting as the Type R.

Today I went about pulling the exhaust from the o2 housing back off so I can put on my new one.
It is currently being held on by one hanger and the rear o2 sensor.
I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to slide the entire system out like I'm planning, and the rear o2 sensor is going to be a complete bitch to remove.

This is how she sits now. I got cold pretty quickly and so I won't get back out there until tomorrow.

I'm extremely angry. I just did a long big ole write up about the car but it got lost when I accidently clicked around with the mouse.

So I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves (the car is running, exhaust goes on tomorrow).

Obviously still not 100% done. Even after the exhaust goes on there are some minor things to take care of as well as a lot of tuning to do so it runs well. The xact flywheel and clutch won't go on for a few more weeks.

No one replies to my boring ass threads...but the exhaust system is now on the car and I'm driving it around again. Many thanks to Ian and my neighbor Karl for assisting me on the final day of work. We took it out for a little test drive and set the boost at about 16 lbs because that sounds like a nice low number to start with when breaking it in and tuning.

So until I get around to the flywheel and clutch I'll have a nice drivable car to get around the Hburg in.

Yes, Ian from the MM, he lives right below me and was good enough to help with my boy Karl.

Nothing too special with the car, stock block, stock head, stock intake manifold and stock throttle body. Stock suspension and stock open differential. Evo3 16g and evo3 manifold and evo3 o2 housing, just like in the pictures above. All pieces ported by slowboy, turbo is clipped 10 degrees and has a larger 34 mm wastegate flapper. I'm tuning for 16 lbs right now with dsmlink, read all about it at www.dsmlink.com I plan to run 20 lbs on 93 octane once I've got everything the way I want it. RRE downpipe and n1 exhaust, just like in the pictures above. FIC 650cc injectors, walbro 255 hp fp, aeromotive afpr set at 45psi. dejon supersidemount, dejon upper intercooler piping, turboxs h-34 blow off valve, turboxs standard mbc. ? ractive strut tower bars, painted blue calipers? momo shift knob...autometer boost gauge, hks turbo timer, greddy egt gauge. NGK plugs/wires, denso o2 sensor (handles leaded gas). That's about it I believe... I'm in ffx right now and my mod list is on the computer at home so I'm just remembering what's there. Everything has been done by me with LOTS of assistance from friends, except the turbo timer which was installed by the previous owner. Now that I've compiled a good list for any thief who always wanted to know, I must remind you it is heavily guarded by all sorts of demons.
