Yeah as I understand it Road Atlanta was godawful damned dangerous in the past. Now its just damned dangerous.

While I was sitting in the media center in the last hour or two I heard, "Waaaa-WHUMP!!!". I actually felt the impact in the media building from the Maserati MC12 hitting the wall on the front straight. I wish I could find a replay of it though =(

Yeah, the "gravity bowl"

There used to be MORE elevation (another 30' or so) on the run down to T10, and back up towards the bridge - there's now a tunnel under the track instead. From what I've heard, you had to brake for T11 and your apex was the concrete on the inside of the bridge, you dont even notice there's a turn there now.

The one on the right is okay but I agree on the other two. The odd thing was that only one team on the whole grid had umbrella girls. ALMS could learn a thing or two from motorcycle racing.

There were quite a few good looking women in the paddock and what not but overall it was fairly sparse as one might expect.

yeah - i agree, she's not too bad..but nothing to write home about either. Maybe it's just the angle..straight aHEAD (like..thats all I can see) just doesn't work for some people
