Yeah, like someone complaining about someone else speeding really has an accurate representation of how fast they were going....

granted i wasn't supposed to be traveling that fast, they didn't have a posted speed limit sign until after i passed him. He was going about 60mph, which i doubt he told that to the officer, when i passed him. I thought the speed limit was 55mph.
This was one of the first times i drove up on skyline drive and when i went up the previous day it was dark and i didn't see any posted speed limit signs, i thought it was 55 or atleast 45 or something. I wasn't going 75 though, that's what the police officer said after he talked to he guy  . i was probably going about 65 when i passed him though, it wasn't a fast pass. My guess is that my exhaust (still had it on at the time) made him irritated enough to snitch me to the cops. I couldn't believe he flagged them down though, i was shocked. I thought they were going to nab me up for going 42. on the main note: how long does it usually take to get down to VIR from Nova? Average time?

Dragon Wrote:That's why I find it funny when people warn you about cops in a certain area, uh if you follow the speed limit within a reasonable amount you have nothing to worry about. only reason i warn you guys about 29 specifically because "reasonable" around madison and greene county (ie: no out of town revenue) means something completely different than nova. personally i try not to go 4 over in those areas and the local paper said people in louisa (where i've gotten 2 tickets) kept complaining about local police pulling people over for going 26 in a 25.

I got plates, cups, utensils (we don't usually need them but I've got them anyways), and some sweets covered. Lets do a Wal-Mart run when we get to Danville so we can pick up grub and WATER
