Also, I picked up Dave's set of Mille Miglia M11's....



I think they're pretty attractive looking, and my main reason for purchasing them was that they are the exact same size/dimesions as the stock sawblades...16x7 all around with +35 offset, so I get to re-use the nearly new Yokohama AVS's on the car. I'm going to paint them black (two minute PS job)....



This way I get a feel for how five spoke wheels/different color wheels will look all for a very reasonable price. I'll post up pics when I get that done.

Also, I'm looking at alarms for the car, I'll probably have Jeff cook me up something at his work, as well as turbo timers. I try to do the poor man's turbo timer of sitting in the car for a few minutes letting it idle, but every now and then I'll forget....

The car could also really use a short shifter, but I haven't been able to find the typical "eBay" shifter for a reasonable price, the cheapest I've found being 170 dollars when most other people do just fine with less expensive units. If I'm unable to find anything I'll just put up with the stock shifter for the meantime.



Other than that the car has been dead reliable. I'd like to jack up the front and fix a little issue with the passenger fog light thats been bugging me, but beyond that the cars been perfect. I quickly learned of its rain - manners however when I parked it across two lanes of traffic after sliding the tail out going uphill in the rain last week :oops:

Good God, I can't wait for Rex to find out you are going to paint his wheels. At least they are going to a good home. Those were beautiful on Rex's 240, so I'm glad someone is getting use of them. I like 'em black though.

those are awesome wheels Goodspeed, you really can't do better in that size for the price that i think you probably got them for. i think they'd look hot in charcoal grey :wink:

i know how you feel with the shifter....my old accord was like rowing a boat. a short shifter definitely helped but i had to watch the gate a little more closely at first or i'd miss 3rd sometimes and go to 5th.

I kinda like the black rimz, goes well with the grey car. Rex has posted a pretty good deterrent though... :-). Doesn't much matter to me, at least they're getting used again.
