NoVA has a long way to fall, so they may still be going down a year from now, but the vast majority of the market should start to plateau within the next 6-9 months. If you're really thinking about buying multiple properties, start now so that you can be closing up while the market is still on the down and out. Just make sure you're going to be able to make those payments and cover your ass on insurance and property taxes. I can see the market to begin it's "normal" appreciation again within the next year, in most places.

I don't get the allure of the lotus. Every lotus owner I've met at the track pussy foots because they will go from 0-20k-totalled in 2 secs flat. What's the point of owning a fast car if you're scared to drive it fast. Like what John said, 20k for hitting a fox? I'll pass.

On the east coast, I completely agree - I have yet to meet a fast Lotus driver. The only track day out here on the west coast, I met a few drivers that were blazingly fast... hrug:
Problem with the N/A Elise is that with it's low hp and moderate Cd, once it hits 110mph, it turns into a dog.
