I'm having problems finding any of the articles I've read on 13b displacement being more accurately measured at 2.6 liters and since I've not commited the argument to memory I may as well forget all about it.
Either way rotaries are weird and ugly and that will help me feel better at night.

This site has the factory service manuals.
If you measure displacement per ingested per rotation of the main shaft, you'd get 2.6L. If you measure without caring about what point in the combustion cycle it's in, then you can measure 3.9L. If you measure by international standards, you get the factory rated 1.3L.

That's why the SAE rates it at 1.3.
I rate my ITR's displacement at 4.8L, but only in 3rd Gear with vTack on, because its crazy fast in mad 3rd geer vTack.
