"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

Do I need an outside car inspection before getting the car to track or is the on track inspection all that is required? :? Just wondering so I can get the car prepped this weekend.
One week away. Woot.

If you're in HPDE1, you just need to fill out the pre-tech form...your instructor will techinspect your car on grid.

I'll be there for at least half of friday, I could stake out something then, some other people are there friday as well, yes? Are the "racers" going to join us, or do we just need spots for 5?

I have a tiny portable charcoal grill I'd like to bring unless someone else is already, anyone want to join me? I'll have a few packs of hot dogs/sausages that you're welcome to--anything fancier you'll have to bring yourself.

Free dyno pulls... I can see the line now.
I wonder if they're gonna give consideration to "official" uses. I hope so.
