Ideally you'd be able to lighten the system and still retain the thermal capacity, but that doesnt happen cheaply (think carbon/ceramic and/or Ti alloys).

Oh, and brembo brakes on a Caddilac CTS-V Speed GT car.
Notice - they are not drilled. I bet Brembo still knows what they are doing..... they wouldnt be an OEM and Pro-race team supplier if they didnt.
