well i found i might be able to get some half used hawk hp+'s for my front brakes for 30 bucks shipped.
i heard hp+'s dust bad, and squeel like a schoolbus (that will f up the effect of my whistle tips) but otherwise, how decent would you say they are for DD and auto-x? will they need too much heat to be decent at the speeds i will be braking from? my car is roughly 3200 lbs. or so with me in it. so would you say not worth the 30 bucks, or should i give it the college try?
im not totally sure of pricing on other decent performance pads but i would say they are usually like 60 bucks or so right?

HP+ are what are on the IV right now and what I bought for the 240. They do dust pretty bad, but they only squeal occaisionally. Stops the car real good, but I've got nothing to really compare it against. 30 bucks is worth a shot at least.
buy 'em. Yeah, anything else would be somewhere around $60 and this will be a good way to see if you like them. Mine squeal almost all the time and I love 'em. Some cars, they don't make a chirp ever. They stop very well even when cold, the perfect autocross pad. And I've never had problems with them at driver schools.
just pay an extra 30 and get a new set of HPSs
HPS's suck ass, they arent any better than stock pads.

I said HPS?
HP+ are great if you can tolerate the noise/dust.

Autozone would suit the Buick fine.

HPS are available (no HP+) for the front of the Buick, about $34. I assume it's drum rears, so I got nothin. Can't speak for carbotech.
Tirerack for the Accord eh? how about $45 front, $45 rear? Yes, that's HP+.
