Chatterbox

to whomever I talked to at VIR about this, you have dibs, just get in contact with me...

I have an unopened, brand new Chatterbox in-car communication headset. This is the type that has 2 loose earbuds and a loose microphone, all of which are easily attached to the inside of your helmet with velcro. I put this into my helmet in a semi-permanent fashion and I can hear extremely well, and I don't even know they are there when it isn't hooked up. This would be great for somebody looking to set up an in-car communication system for HPDEs and such. You will still need the actual Chatterbox, but this would i a good start, and could be useful if your instructor has this setup already.

so, uh, I found this in my closet tonight. There's a few more people driving on track, using helmets, etc now than there was a year ago. Anybody interested in this?

in order to speak with another person, you'd need another earbud, and the chatterbox controller. Basically, this is a third of the whole setup. Mom hooked me up with mine as a gift a while back and gave me two of these type, but I opted to get one of the type that you just slip in for my passenger. This is great to put into your helmet though, b/c the mic and ear peices can be put exactly where you want them and they stay right there.
