It's not an issue of not wanting volunteers, it's an issue of having too many volunteers. They don't want to play favorites and ignore a group that wants to help out so each group that has volunteers was allocated a certain number of spots to fill. MM filled theirs already, but Laura was gonna be nice and offer VIP passes to some MM members that wouldn't be working, but from what I gathered from Mike no-one told him they wanted a pass.

Yes you will have to worry about admission fee. The gates don't magically open of their own accord at a specific time, there's an attendant that opens them and then starts taking passes/money. So no pass = pay admission.

That's the way it works my man, when a few of the organization screw up the reputation the whole organization pays. I'm sure with consistant support they'll start relying on MM more heavily in the future, but even the slightest screw up will destroy all the work that people have put in to restore the reputation.
