the 1JZ gods HATE me

so my 1jz-gte motor swap i had planned for spring break isnt happenin now. I have every damn part I need for the swap.

won the bid on the motor on ebay last night.. called today to pay and arrange shipping. then get a call back 5 mins later saying they dont have the motor and dont know why it was on e bay. Looks like i have another 4 week wait for another soarer 1JZ.. DAMNNNNNNN

I was headed home this weekend to pull my motor out and get a head start. doesnt look like thats happenin now :twisted: :evil: :twisted: :evil: :twisted: :evil: :twisted: :evil: :twisted: :evil: :twisted: :evil: :twisted: :evil: :evil: :twisted: :twisted: :evil: :twisted: :evil:

This also means i wont make the 2 day drift even i had planned for the end of march.... SUCKA MOTHAFUCKAAAA

Why not buy one from Jarco or another supplier? I mean, Jarco is hideously expensive, but they have good shit, especially Toyota stuff.

I mean, there are *tons* of JDM importers out there...why worry with an Ebay seller?

Oh, and I'd post MAD negative feedback, and I'd report them to ebay. Selling something on ebay that you don't even have? Sounds shady to me.

this place is JHot.. they are the best known distributor for 1J's all the highest hp and best running cars all seem to be jhot motors. Then come HIGHLY recomended by many people in the lexus-supra forums.

I already left them a deposit for a 1J in their next shipment.

Oh yea.. i was only paying 1200 shipped for the swap.. much cheaper than jarco by like 1500 bucks Also SOARER 1J's are really hard to come by. I called every distributor i knew about 10 or so and no one had a soarer 1J. So being that this soarer 1j was from j hot and was the only one in the country right now, i went the e bay route

put a 350 in it. With a turbo for sentimental reasons.

Actually I was referring to the time he got scammed on an engine back in the day. I believe it was a 1JZ too. So look at the bright side, you've still got your money...

im not mad.. my motor still works just fine. I just wanted to do it over spring break. Now i have no spring break plans and no money to do anything, so its looks like ill be sitting at home all week haha.. I guess ill just have to drive up and do it over a weekend or something. I'm hoping and planning on it being a solid 2 day swap start to finish (hopefully that.. unlike getting the motor will go smoothly)

there is a replacement for displacement... its boost.. Ill stick with the inline 6 twinturbo anyday :lol:

yea i remember him telling me about that. This place I am dealing with is very reputable and trustworth. Im not getting ripped off in any ways. Just not getting a motor as soon as I would have hoped to

yea.. i would sign up for it and run it with my motor now, but my clutch is starting to slip and i dont think it would make it through a 2 day drift event.
