So i have everything (i think) to do the motor... or i will by the end of today. I'm just missing a throttle body gasket.
Today through Saturday i'll be working on the car... If anyone wants to come over and give me a hand just drop by. I probably wont be working on the car past 9/10 pm.

I wondered how the ghetto fabulous axle turned out. Did it work, or did you have to remove it?

i remember replacing an axel in the gravel at VIR in august a couple of years back in the integra. i almost had the whole thing ready to go just in time for my last session of the day thanks to RJ and his honduh knowledge. i backed the car out of my paddock spot and started to roll forward when i heard a pop. i got out and saw tranny fluid spilling out of where the axel goes into the transmission. turns out the axel wasnt snapped in all the way.  make sure you force that bitch in so it snaps into place and you cant pull it out

When did he _ever_ 'chase me down'. The only time he was close to my rear bumper is right after I passed him :lol:
chad you also have to remember that back then, i had never had the car on the dyno... so i didnt know i was shifting "short" and at only 70hp no less NO i doubt i ever caught chad unless he was being held up by traffic... Dave in the Debt Jet either... but the rest of those donkeys out there were getting lapped by a 70hp crx...
The new motor i'm hoping to get about 130hp out of... I dont want to lean it out too much for the last bit... i'm trying to be safe Its going to be a whole new car to me...

Ask dave how many times I've lapped him. Oh and don't forget, I was down on 1 cylinder for a whole season .
Just fighting the axles... then i can fill the fluids and turn the key! but i'm literally fighting the axles
