I guess I'm getting no response out of this. The 2004 UEFA Euro Cup is being held right now. Huge soccer tournament. France, Italy, Spain, England Spain and a few others have been set home already. France was the defending champion and they got knocked out by Greece who had never even won a tournament game, ever and who in one of their last meetings with France lost 7-1.
This game was huge. I can't even imagine the attitude in Europe because EVERYONE is watching this tournament.
As for the greek win, I can try and make a comparison if this doesn't sound special...imagine America's all star football players losing to some guys from Pakistan.

Obviously you did not understand my comparison. It had nothing to do with the sport, everything to do with the size of the upset.
France finally got shut up? Have you been paying attention to soccer? I don't care what FIFA says, France is barely a top 10 team now. I mean, they got their ass kicked defending the world cup, got their ass kicked defending the euro cup. Zidane barely pulled off the win for them against England. Which reminds me of another over rated team right now.

Anyway. Portugal has a very good shot. But they already lost to Greece once. If it comes down to Greece Vs Portugal, expect the Greek win. The Greeks usually don't have a reason to see themselves as winners. They do now and that will factor big.
