I like the BBS LM color scheme where it's a deeper silver on the spokes than the lip. Probably won't be able to do it on a one piece but I think it would look great on your car.

I saw a previous gen CTS-V with black wheels today that looked almost exactly like what I was looking at. And it looked sick! So I'm probably leaning that direction again :p

Just pulled the trigger on a Trifecta tune for the CTS this weekend. Bad News Racing was having a Labor Day sale and at $300.00 for unlimited lifetime tunes I was a buyer. Will definitely report back on the feedback!

I have everything set to paint the calipers as well...except I can't find my jack handle Tried to use a substitute but it was an epic fail. I am going to probably wait until the cooler fall air hits before I try to tackle that and blacking out all of the chrome on the car (probably going to Plastidip it) because I am tired of sweating my sack off in my garage even at 8:30 in the morning.

Finally got the tune loaded. Much, much improved, and it's getting better every day as the ECU readapts. Shifts are much more firm which will take some getting used to, but gone are the grandma shifts that just made the car lagggggg. This engine was butter smooth before and now even more so just with more pull. Better acceleration from a stop, it makes smarter shifting decisions on upslopes / downslopes and it definitely took advantage of the slight mods I have. Overall it took the sluggishness out of the throttle response by improving power delivery.

Definitely a good choice for $300. Now on to the cosmetic black out and I think I'll be done with this car other than regular maintenance!

Man I would love to! I can't go that Saturday unfortunately I am having it professionally detailed and having all of the chrome trim / emblems blacked out + maybe smoke the tails all day. Maybe i will swing up there some day soon though with my buddy Frank's built Saleen and see what we put down!

Hope you chose a suitable professional! Post pics when done- please make sure if there is ANY paint correction involved he knows what he's doing and using the proper machine

Is it realistic to have you try to get a corrective detail in when I visit northern VA in December? Are you close to there right now?

I'm in Harrisonburg now until the end of the semester- which is not too far from Nova- what time frame are you going to be visiting- If it is after that second week (the 14th exactly) then I will be around for a handful of days- if its after that and later in the month I would be willing to travel from home (Northern NJ) down to Nova for a weekend to work- just need to cover fuel costs etc. (what I do with all my clients)
