Mudflaps are the shit! Definitely important for a subaru. I am having a set for the caddy painted at the body shop as we speak. They almost give the right cars a wide body effect. Nice work dude!

the thing is, on a GR-chassis impreza, those muy suave, rally-style widebody fenders pick up chips like crazy. check out this carnage (on a 2,000 mile old car btw):
![]() yeah yeah, its a rally car, have fun with it, etc - but on a showroom shiny car that still has new car smell, you better believe mudflaps make sense. i'm an apologist and all since i think all kinds of cars look cool with them, but in this case they're even more function than form.

That's the same reason I got mine right when I got my evo. The car already had plenty of small chips, not nearly that bad though. Within two weeks of owning my car I already bought and installed the mud flaps!
