Impressions: the car is just crazy fun to drive now. I'll pass on the go-kart cliche in favor of...well, a slot car  . These tires are kick-ass and it was just silly fun on my drive of some neighborhood twisties this evening. Something I wasn't expecting was how beneficial installing the steering wheel was - my main motivation was to just replace the stock (14.75") wheel with something smaller for ingress/egress. However, the smaller (and much lighter) wheel provides awesome feel and feedback and feels
much better in my hands.
The seats/harnesses were installed by Piper Motorsport on custom bases and I luurrrve them. I fit in the seats perfectly, the seats fit the car perfectly, and combined with the other modifications together its a whole new car to drive. Hustling it through the twisties is a lot more positive as I no longer have to use the steering wheel for leverage. They also installed Mazda Comp heavy duty swaybar mounts, after drilling out the stock ones that are prone to failure, and performed a corner balance/alignment.
Slowly but surely, its turning into the "perfect" Miata I envisioned
