The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. I live in Ballston in a condo I own (it's small but I like it) I don't want a yard or a garage. I am still able to invest a fair amount of my money. It can be done.

of course it can be done, i have a house in fairfax, right next to the govnt center. i still max out my 401k and put in my 4k to my IRA, as well as play with stocks. it is all how you set up yourself, and prepare for the house. I am able to live comfortably on my salary, invest, and still have toys.
granted i put a good penny down to afford my house, i got it at a great deal, and more than 100k off the asking price.
