ahhh! is it Saturday yet???

for those of you who have never driven be sure to print off a tech sheet and weekend schedule... it helps make things less confusing when you roll up to grid. also you must have long pants (long shirt might be nice too).

forecast says mostly sunny Saturday and Sunday!

What is the best way out of NoVA. Should I take 28N to 7W or 66W? I'm skipping work early. Probably be out by 3 or so.

what part are you coming from?

usually 66 will be backed up by 4pm heading westward.

I'd say the quickest way is I-66w/I-81N/rt 7E

The nicer drive is rt 7west.

I'll be leaving pretty late, so i'll be taking the 66west route.

the fastest way to summit out of nova is the toll road to the greenway until it turns into rt. 7

Thats expensive though, so rt 7 all the way is the next best way

From my place it takes a little shorter taking the ffx pkway to 66w takes about 1.5 hours to the *Hotel* (which is right off of I-81). Taking Route 7 is slighly slower IMO b/c of the traffic lights and reduced speed limit.

This is with no traffic - mind you.

Also - we will want to save space for Steve (white ITR, HPDE3) and Al (green miata, HPDE4) in the paddock.

I'll be setting up by grid on the gravel.
