Another great weekend for me! The people at these events truly make it. The car did well, I did well (will summarize in my project thread) and it was another two days of fun otherwise. Glad G's car is okay after the braking... incident, was fun watching the karting (cold though) and I'm glad to see a solid contingent of MM showing up to drive/work these weekends

That was one of the best weekends ive had in a while. Although lots of work needed to be done, since my cage guy didnt drop off my car till 2 nights before I didnt bother to work on the car. Swapped coils to try to solve a misfire issue, didnt fix it. But I didnt worry about it too much, just shortshifted. No racing, and the weather was clear. Everyone seemed to come out unscathed which is a huge plus!
I re-set the track record again to a 1:21.42 at Summit with some time left on the board I think, it was rather messy but it did the damn job! I was short-shifting and running on R6s instead of my usual A6s, so who knows what time is left! Grabbed 1st place both days for a total of 4 hoosiers this weekend.
Karting with G and Navin was awesome and we managed a really good 4th place out of 20 considering the competition. I also managed to post the fastest lap of the enduro, I was feeling good and had a decent kart.
The steak and veggies for lunch, plenty of beer, awesome MMers and some buffalo wings sunday didnt hurt the fun factor either!
This weekend really shined the fact of my latest performances. I suffered at VIR with sickness, lack of sleep, smacking into a wall, and being over-taxed. My lap times werent there and despite a decent first race grabbing 2nd out of 9, I felt my driving wasnt what it "could be".
For this weekend, I did nothing the three weekends before, no racing, no working on the car (I guess a benefit of the cage guy taking wayy too long fixing minor things?). I felt great, got plenty of sleep, and was relaxed in the car. I will be making sure next year to not overtax myself and make time for "myself".
