I never got started watching Battlestar Gallactica but it comes out on Netflix streaming on October 1st so I made do a little episode binging on it to see if I like it.

It starts off really strong but gets kind of weak towards the end of the series. You have to watch the premier / movie before starting on the episodes. If you get into it there were also "webisodes" that might not be included on the DVDs. They fell in between seasons and don't really further the plot, but fill in a few gaps and are referenced from time to time.

My DVR actually caught an episode of Star Trek TNG I have never seen before. It's one of the cheesiest ones ever too! It's where Geordi puts on a suit and manuevers a probe around. His mom's vessel goes missing and while he's operating the probe inside of a downed ship he sees an image of her, but it turns out it's a fire being that lives in the atmosphere..... :lol:

We had a snow day from work yesterday and as soon as I got home there was a TNG marathon on. It was awesome, put on some lunch and plopped myself down on the couch. Had to tear myself away to go buy the truck though.

I'm into the 2.5th season of Battlestar Galactica. Have to say whoever it was (Evan?) who recommended this show was spot on. Stargate: Universe actually reminds me of BG...with the crazy doctor, military vs. civilians, etc. Rex, I think I've seen you lurking on Netflix watching too

Yeah, so we've been watching BSG for like a week straight now. I can't get enough of it. Saturday, we actually went hiking and the whole time I was wondering how quickly we could get home so we could watch more BSG. I have an illness, I am sure of it.

1) everyone on XBL seems to be doing that instead of playing CoD 2) my wife starts grad school tonight and I have nothing of consequence to occupy me (other than the aforementioned CoD that no one is playing)

I want to check out that new series that is coming out Caprica that is supposed to be set in the days during the original Cylon rebellion.
