MichaelJComputer Wrote:Finally about a passenger. NASA-VA does allow passengers for HPDE3 students, but you may need to get signed off for it.
All HPDE3 students must have approval of the chief instructor to take passengers at each event. Prior approval at another event/track doesn't count at a new event/track. The Chief Instructor will let me know on an individual basis which Group 3 students are allowed to take passengers. Of course if it's a HPDE3 student I know, then I'll let them go anyway.

...so do I count? Since I've never driven Summit Point before, I'm going to try and find an instructor to ride with me and show me the line. Or I might just ride with them. Either way, I wouldn't feel comfortable with a passenger until after a couple sessions. But after that, I am really hoping you'll let Rob ride with me.

Please Matt... I'll give you a cookie

Sam i'd recommend hopping in someone's car before you go out for the first session.

Just don't go out with RJ, you don't wanna see what the top of the embankment in turn 3 looks like.

Seriously though, before taking a rider take a few sessions, talk to Unk after that if you feel comfortable.
