Well, I have a non smoking room at the Hampton Inn w/ 2 doubles if anyone wants to split and assuming Jon confirms that I am 'advanced' enough to instruct for the R32's guys
Just got an email from Jon saying I'm qualified and he can use me to instruct. So looks like I'll be there w/ you donkey's. Now, who wants that other bed? Comeon, help a brother pay for his room .
Oh yea, gonna do the Dyno too on Friday while I'm there .
I just registered to instruct.
If anyone wants me as their instructor, feel free to email Jon Felton to request.

also, Nasa runs different turn numbers, I think the Loop is called turn 1 with nasa.
Personally I just call the corners by their names instead of numbers, since every group uses different numbering

Any of you guys coming up to this live in/near Vienna (22181)? I need to swap some struts for a gauge pod, if I get the guy to come to your place could you bring the pod w/ you and take the struts back?
what configuration are they running?

See video above or map above minus chicane and pit straight, using the right hand cutoff to turn 3. Same config NASA used last time.

booooo, Pit Straight for the win!!!
The cutoff is rough.
We discussed it but decided to omit the pit straight because it makes grid so much more calm and quiet for workers/instructors/drivers.
Also because we are expecting a bunch of spectators on Saturday and didn't want a lot of non-registered foot traffic so close to cars at speed.
I've never driven the pit straight config but it does look fun...
