you can seriously put in anywhere :-)

when I get a new car, i usually get 2 cans, put 2/3 can down the gas tank, put 1/2 can down the oil fill (and change the oil a couple miles later) and suck the rest through the intake. The also have an aerosol can of the stuff called Deep Creep. I used that to clean my intake manifold when it was off, also good stuff.
BG 44k also is highly recommended, although I don't think it has as many uses. I've never heard of B-12 though.
