Jewels Wrote:Rex and I are leaving probably around 4, I get off work at 4 so it'll probably be more like 4:30. We are staying at my parents house cause they live in Winchester, but we can get you to the Shoney's Inn before we go home.
Where would you guys like to meet up so we can go up together? I will prolly drive, so DJ if need a ride I got a spot if you dont mind riding in a slow truck. 4:30 would be good for me to leave...anyway just let me know so we can figure out a time and place to meet.

Ok, well a few weeks before VIR I requested that this shenandoah weekend get added as a points race - I was told no go, too many other things going on, etc and that was fine and I was glad that the directors tried to make the request happen. But, about 2 weeks before the event goes off its added as a points race :!: so I need to bust ass to get the car ready, order tires, etc.... None too happy, especially since I could have started getting shit done after VIR.
Also, there are 16 races (8 weekends) on the ECHC schedule, and your best 10 finishes count towards points (i.e. 6 drops) so I was planning on running 12 races (6 weekends) and set my own schedule accordingly. That was also changed, so now it is only 4 drops - so I have to hope I dont blow anything up all year, since I really cant do more than 6 weekends as it is.
I really enjoy the series and I love the guys running in it, but the last minute schedule and rules changes are getting a little hokey for me.
My $.02

If you guys get there early, could you rope off some paddock space for MM. I think Shenandoah has a pretty small paddock to begin with.
I have a big ass roll of caution tape left over from a halloween party so if we can rope off our space.
Two feet.
