I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard if you ask around
For real tho, steroids are the best drug on the planet. I get a sinus infection at least once a year and the doctor puts me on a "cycle" to help kick it, you feel like a god among men. I was recovering during our annual golf trip one year and I was able to play 36 holes of golf consecutively without an ounce of fatigue and felt like I could play 36 more!

On week 3 of this meal prep train. I'm not really a fan of eating the same thing 4 times a week but I'm sticking with it. Much healthier than I used to eat for lunch and I feel like I have more energy after lunch.
Used to eat a sandwich, chips, fruit, etc everyday for lunch. So many carbs not a lot of protein. This week I did brown rice, cucumber/onion/tomato salad, a little arugula I had around and grilled chicken. Just portioning by eye no scale.

My wife did the same thing while I was day laboring, making some kind of egg thing for breakfasts and a huge meatroaf for lunches.

I just started this last night/this week! I got some motivation and cooked everything for the week yesterday. Spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and just basic chicken, rice and steamed veggies for lunch. I might start cooking two things for lunch and then alternating them since I also don't like the idea of eating the same damn thing everyday of the week either. I went to Kroger to buy dedicated Tupperware for packing and they had surprise bogo on Pyrex so scooped up 5 of those yay.

Something to note for you single guys. I don't like the same thing all week either, so I tend to fix a meal big enough for 2 and portion out the second half for lunch or dinner the next day. So while you do eat it again, its not the same thing each night. I also like to take a pound of burger and make burgers on the grill, and then eat them for either lunch or dinner during the week. I find that I can fix them in a few different ways via condiments or sides that I don't get overly bored with them. I also make mine slider size in hopes of getting my picky eater to eat them. But in my opinion its a cheap way to get protein and variety.

Either my dieting is so on point now it only takes bird feed for me to get full, or I made myself way too much food for lunch.
Whichever it is, I'm a fan of this Sent from my FRD-L04 using Tapatalk

Meal Preppers and instapot lovers. My friend Jennifer has started blogging about her food prep adventures with the insta pot. She's cooking for a family of 5 with 3 of those people under the age of 5. While I know most of you guys are either single or don't have kids. Its useful information in case you and your significant other have differing tastes but still both want to meal prep. I'll post a link when I'm home and not on my work computer later this evening. While I cannot afford an instapot currently, its definitely give me a lot of food for thought!

So I've been getting back into the gym again and doing crossfit. Got pretty amped when I did a heavy three with 335# for back squat. I think right now I could make it into the 1000lb club which would be kinda exciting. My diet is still fucked. For those that dropped good chunks of weight (Rex?) di you count macros or eyeball or just feel it out? Trying to get the diet situated. I think I'm still consuming too much as I'm eating good foods and working out but still sitting at 270.

I'd count everything for at least six months or so and then cut back as you see fit. It's really not that hard these days. I used myfitnesspal to read barcodes and once I had a good bit of food entered it was simply a matter of checking a few boxes everyday. It was nice to see the cause and effect of my diet on a daily/weekly basis.

Go buy a food scale. They are cheap. That's about all you need to get started. And MFP. Its super helpful. And like the above, after a while you just have to check boxes cause you know what you are eating consistenly.
