Like turned it back in to VW? Did you strip off anything not required for the vehicle to move under it's own power, or were you a decent human being?
I'm decent. 191k miles.. Not much worth stripping but I Did forget to keep my floor mats. All these parts people are tree are trying to strip not worth my time when there's 100k of them in the market

Seems like a failed resale / upsell opportunity to me. I would think every dealer would take advantage of free money going into their clients' pockets and a probable need for a new car
