The Civic will also hold it's resale value better than the Mazda as well, but then again, you're going to pay more up front for it to (about $2K more)...

Back on topic - I emailed Brown's in Arlingon about a 2007 Civic LX Sedan on Sunday night. A sales rep just sent me a mail back:
"hello andrew we have sold all our civic sedans we now have 2008 civics in stock we can sell you the 2008 civic lx auto for 17395.00 please call so we can set up a good time to come in and test drive" Does anybody know where I might be able to find dealer invoice for the car? I can't find '08's on Edmunds. Thoughts?

Yeah I agree with Derek actually. Shop around until you find some 07s, if you can... you're going to get the best deals and have the most negotiation room on older MYs.

You might wanna try dealerships that are a little bit farther out that might not have been able to move all of their 07's yet.
On invoice prices I usually use Carsdirect.com. You can order cars online from them but they post the invoice price and the break down of all the options for you to see. The invoice on a 07 LX Sedan Automatic is $16,944.
