seeing as how its the middle of summer so weathermen say it 'might' rain every single freakin' day, the weather so far doesn't look too bad.

are we gonna have a tent or grill or anything like that set up?

Is anyone thats going to VIR this weekend driving back to NOVA on Sunday? I'm in Blacksburg, and I've been trying to figure out a way to get my motorcycle back down here. I was thinking about trying to get a ride back to nova on sunday then ride back monday morning. I'm not 100% sure I want to do this, but I figure'd I'd see if it was even an option.

And also speaking of rides - is there anybody that would be willing to pick me up in Charlottesville on Friday afternoon/evening. Jess is driving the WRX down early Friday morning to work grid, but I can't leave until later. I'd like to avoid taking my truck down (10 mpg).

Dave already volunteered, but if someone has a nicer seat than the back of a 240 with a rollbar, then I'd take that instead Smile

There's a decent chance Ryan and I will be rolling through C-ville around 2-3 on Friday.

The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

I can't say with 100% certainty, but I may be able to help you out man. All depends on whether I decide to ride or drive the Miata. If the Miata wins and you don't have a lot of stuff with you we're good to go.

I thought about riding down, but coming back sunday night, 4 hours on 29 would really suck.

Gotcha, well if I bring the Miata down then I've only got room for one, but considering I'm pretty sure that Jess will give John a ride back then the passenger seat is free.
