how much are you spending on gas?
#61
Monday when I filled up it was $3.19 for 93. This is 2 weeks after I was fed up paying $40 to fill up, and seriously did some research on the elise. I'm also REALLY wanting a bike, but then my parents would kill me. Well, either my driving style on a bike or my parents would kill me first.

I am beginning to think that buying a car that takes premium is not worth it Sad

But premium still is only 10-20 cents more than 87. To me, there's never been a better time to buy a car that takes premium because hey, you're gonna pay out the ass anyway! What's 10 more cents when gas is 3.50?

agreed, the ratio of 87:93 octane price now is smaller than ever when related to overall prices

either way this sucks...paying way too much for gas

Apparently when gas hits 3.50, the U.S. will be a prime market for foreign gas suppliers like Mexico's PEMEX to come in and sell. Unfortunately, mexican is about as good as mexican water. It killed off my gf's Subaru's cats in the 2,000+ miles that we drove around mexico. Our saving grace was the car was still under the emissions warranty, and subie had to eat the 1300.00 dollar bill Big Grin

Yeah its really not too big of a deal. With an 18 gallon tank, your only spending about $4 more per fill up from empty. I can handle $4 a week to drive what I want.

No unecessary trips for me. I am going to try and keep my driving to a minimum. I am seeing more motorcycles on the road

It is now $3.18 for regular unleaded in Springfield.

just took mine to work, makes going to work more fun Wink

right now the vw is near empty and the bike was full when i bought it, so i'll be using that for a little while. Not sure the exact price of the station near my house, but the exxon near feersty's is actually one of the cheapest in the area (across the street from that big Shell station)

i'll check the liberty when i get home.

The BP on Old Keene Mill Road in the same shopping center as Glory Days is cheap as well.
