Apparently Paul Van Dyk just fell 20 feet off of the main stage at the ASOT festival. They life flighted him to the hospital with possibly a head injury sounds really serious hope he is ok!! He's literally one of my EDM idols.

Still no word yet from his official camp which is really surprising...you would think if he was okay they would have at least indicated that. There was some indication from a few DJs that I guess he is close with (Dash Berlin, Talla2XLC) that he is stable / okay and very lucky but nothing has really been confirmed yet.

This came up on my Facebook feed from Echostage. I'm going to sound like an old fogey but I won't apologize for it, some of the newer forms of EDM are absolute fing garbage:

You've got to be on some kind of awful drug or have robot ears to think this is good music. Drumstep, "moombahcore" no long time EDM lovers will shed a tear when these fads go away. Ironically my cousin is a fairly well known DJ that spins a hybrid of dubstep and some other weird experimental stuff and I appreciate what he does but definitely don't "get it".

Hallelujah, it looks like A&B finally migrated their Group Therapy podcasts over to either Soundcloud for the older ones or Youtube for the newer ones. I was having really mixed results using their built in player, most of the time it seemed to be broken no matter what browser or computer I was on.

SUPER good news on this front, my wife has been keeping up on this since she became a huge fan after seeing him in person with me as her first trance show. He has still been in the hospital recovering, it turns out he had a really bad concussion and cracked vertebrae. He is expected to fully recover and apparently is jumping back on the show schedule possibly for later this year! What a massive blessing after such a bad fall.
