My dad gave me a weight set to sell on CL and keep the loot on, so I decided to stop being a bitch about $50.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
Keyboard is serious fucking win. It takes some getting used to because it's smaller, but I'm definitely faster on it than I am on the tablet itself. The addition of a pointer is a huge plus IMO 'cause I had a helluva time selecting text or moving cursors with my fat fingers. I have a mini laptop mouse with one of those micro receivers I moved over from my regular laptop, so I have all the comforts of home. You know what else is nice? Arrow keys.

I typed my post on my keyboard and undocked it do surf internets and play games while I exercised. I have both in one machine, you know, the reason I bought it... so I don't need a laptop and put my old one away in a drawer. It's pretty simple, you're just being purposefully dense.

i get it... a little bit. if you want that functionality you're still forced to more or less carry a laptop with you... and since you're still owning a real laptop, the added utility of this setup is even more negligible. you gave yourself an option, but it's only a new and beneficial one in very rare occasions.

Not really "very rare" as I still walk around the house without the keyboard... but you're absolutely right. I bought it as a laptop replacement, for my dying one, so I really have no problems taking the keyboard with me as it's no different than a netbook... which is what I've really wanted for the last year or two. I'm seriously considering selling my old laptop now and just using this. My feelings about tablets as being mostly toys hasn't really changed. If I'm just going somewhere for a day trip or a couple days, I doubt I'd take the keyboard. If I'm going on vacation for a week, I can take it.
If I didn't have the ability to turn it into a laptop, I wouldn't have bought it cause I don't have a "need" for a tablet.

right, i get ya there. didn't realize you were hoping to retire your laptop. makes much more sense then. however, you'd acknowledged it's no good for things like tabulating results... just gonna use a desktop for that?

Remains to be seen. I can still use things like Excel... I just can't side-by-side programs like before (makes it easier to type into the website's CMS). Given I have a perfectly good 3 monitor setup that I only ever use for paying bills and photo processing, I could probably stand to use it a little more. Trying to have Excel and a browser open on a laptop was always pretty inefficient anyway.
I put my laptop in a drawer instead of listing on CL 'cause I'm not convinced yet.

Chris your bro with the load dropper or whatever that thing is is awesome. He has helped carry some weight through a lot of the Rev. 4s. Ben just joined Gun Bros so now we have two bros to get all the War Bucks daily challenges...He's only level 1 though right now ha. I think I just hit 52 or something.
Coronal Ejector will be had by the end of the day...I'm only $5k short and I've got cash accruing interest in all three of the top refineries. By the end of tomorrow I should have almost $200k gold
Need moar War Bucks though! I try to download those stupid apps and get them for free, but most of them don't actually give you the bucks.

That deuce dropper, or whatever the fuck it's called, is ridiculous. It's 2200 damage, so it basically kills anything in one pop. I think it'll be money in zombies, but I haven't tried it yet. The only problem is the short reach and how slow it makes you. I think I need to change my armor to be one that is +speed/def... my current is +off/def and -speed. I don't really need the +off with 2200 damage.
I have like 130k coins, but I'm only a 42. I'm mostly in Rev3, so it's clear you play more than I do. :-D
I'd need Ben to be a friend on Fb to get him as a Bro. Can you suggest via Fb?

In other news, I picked this up for when I wanna carry all the Transformer peripherals: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002VPE1Q6
I don't think I'll take the keyboard out of the house, except when I travel, but I figure this is a good way to keep everything together. My wife has the sleeved version for her netbook and it's decent and cheap: http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Sleeve-Netbooks-Apple-Kindle/dp/B002VPE1PW/
I plan to use the folio case for carrying it around most of the time.

I like the Samurai Armor, it's a pretty good compromise and you can pay cash for it. The only other armor I want is the one that costs like 55 war bucks each. Your hand cannons seem to be pretty beast...I got the machete pistols and they are just so so. The Ion Rifle is badass though especially with upgraded criticals.
Chris, you are such a consumer and I love you for it.
Suggestion sent~

Eh, I buy what I want. Debt free (except mortgage) and making decent cash has its perks.
The irony is I've been selling so much shit on craigslist, I'm actually down on possessions and up on cash.

To Evan's point, the stock browser is crap. I've had it crash on more than one occasion and for whatever reason, typing in it (both touch and keyboard) is laggy. Typing in all the other programs is fine and using something like Firefox is okay too.

Yeah Browser for Honeycomb sucks. I hope Google starts rapidly improving it the way they have with Chrome. I'm tired of the keyboard input lag

Coronal Ejector with upgraded criticals does so much work in zombies ha ha...I still can't beat Wave 10 though....they do so much damage at that point.
I hope the next update has more than just new guns. I don't really have anything to spend money on at this point. Augments for weapons and armor would be nice as well as customizability for colors etc. I think an objective-based sub gametype would be awesome...like attack and defend, etc.

Yeah... I started to realize the limitations of the game a few days ago. I'm already to the point where there isn't much left to achieve because new Revolutions and planets aren't of much interest to me.
I got the roocase yesterday - I really like it. I used it in the kitchen to listen to Pandora and reference a recipe while cooking, used it to play Words with Friends while watching a movie and then took it out to dock with the keyboard to respond to a few emails. Yeah, the ASUS was more expensive than a netbook... but it's more versatile IMO.

I have to say, the Roocase is money on the airplane. This trip alone has made me glad I purchased it. It's super versatile and so much easier to manage than a laptop while travelling. I read a Kindle book while listening to music, and then played some Gun Bros...made it a quick flight!
