I have been giving a lot of thought to a S2000 lately, excellent platform but I just can't justify the additional costs at the current time.

Shea, good option.but negates one of my needs as a track car: KISS (keep it simple stupid!) I dont want turba, dont want ta tune, dont want an intercoola. None of that ballin stuff! God I gotta drive the gsx, makes me just want to jump off the deep-end and take some of the offers for the car ive gotten...Gotta do this smart, not emotional lol.

Just throwing it out there as another option, there is a Spec Turbo Miata (Super Miata) class being designed, I don't know if it will come to be on the East Coast anytime soon but its growing in popularity on the West Coast. Kind of takes away from some of the low costs of owning a miata but its would sure be fun. :twisted:

thats a super fun idea and if done right has a lot of potential, but those guys are pretty clueless when it comes to club racing and what made spec miata a runaway success racing class.
this IMO is a much better idea
